Ashtyn Barbaree is an Americana singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Fayetteville, Arkansas (USA). In 2021 Arkansas State Tourism chose her as the Arkansas State Music Ambassador. In 2023 she was selected by the Arkansas Arts Council as one of the state’s finest performers (Arts On Tour Roster). She has a smokey, yet ethereal voice paired with rhythmic acoustic guitar and often accompanied with upright bass, piano, harmonies and pedal steel. Her vulnerable songwriting style and passionate performances resonate with and captivate listeners. Her debut EP was recorded in Nashville, TN with David “Fergie” Ferguson (of Johnny Cash, Sturgill Simpson), Dave Roe (of Johnny Cash), Kenny Vaughan (of Marty Stuart), Jeffrey Clemens (of G. Love and Special Sauce, Dan Auerbach) and Michael Rojas (of Stevie Nicks, Jewel), once released, it led to her first European tour in 2018. Her latest full-length album was recorded in Nashville, TN with Chris Scruggs (of Sierra Ferrell, Loretta Lynn), Jeffrey Clemens and Tommy Hannum (of Wynonna), then released in June 2022. She has performed across the USA, UK, Canada, Denmark, Sweden, Germany and The Netherlands.
